On the 30th of April 2026, the Ambassador-designate of the Embassy of the Sovereign Military Order of Malta to the Philippines, H.E. Maria Lourdes Bernadette Z. Banson, was received by Chief of Protocol Assistant Secretary Ariel R. Peñaranda and Director Frances Louissa C. Cleofas, for the Presentation of Open Copies of Letters of Credence.
Ambassador-designate Banson was accompanied by Archbishop Socrates Villegas of the Archdiocese of Lingayen-Dagupan, a chaplain of the Order of Malta in the Philippines, and the Executive Assistant of the Embassy, Ms. Vida Misa.
